For the past two semester I have been working closely with 3 dedicated UMass students to create an interactive textbook swap market excluse to UMass students. Last night we officially went public with the website, and have received a ton of positive feedback. Although the site is currently stable, we have big future development plans in place to improve upon the system and provide students with the best textbook sharing marketplace service possible. I've been very busy these past few months with school, but I have found the time on weekends and on holiday breaks the work on a side project. I am proud to announce after nearly a year since the idea was born, the release of Break the Network. Break the Network is a web design and technology blog that I have released, which I plan on using for posting tutorials and articles. I am actively recruiting authors for this blog, so please if you are interested in writing, then let me know via my contact form. Anyway I really hope that Break the Network grows over the next year and we are able to help some people out in the process. Well it's been a long time since I've posted anything on my site, maybe too long. But I havn't been completely ignoring it. I've spent maybe an hour or two every few weeks making minor tweaks and such, and of course I always use this site as my own testing ground. The sub directories are a warzone at the moment. Really though, I have been pretty busy. School is right around the corner and I am in the process of finishing up my work at inConcert Web Solutions, Inc. As a follow up to last years html/css ind study, I choose to take a look at web template design. I learned alot over the course of the semester about what good web design really is, and certain practices to follow. In total I created 6 projects, all of which I attempted various web styles on.
