This is a collection of stock/product photos, designs (logo included), and materials created for use in the branding of Dime & Regal, a boutique located in downtown Grand Rapids, MI. Dime & Regal sells a collection of handmade goods from local Michigan makers. Simple, clean, elegant, and modern products can be found at the boutique such as candles, scarves, jewelry, hand carved spoons, and even fine art.
Michigan Titanium Marketing 2015
This is a collection designs that were used on t-shirts, jerseys, posters, postcards, race pamphlets, or other printed media. Michigan Titanium is Michigan's only full iron distance triathlon (140.6). They offer many options for race distances, but the full 140.6 is the premier event. Race directors wanted to create a similar but different identity to separate the full athletes from the other competitors which is where the "Come. Tri. Conquer." and "Iron Rusts. Titanium Doesn't." slogans came from. The Michigan Titanium logotype and "Come. Tri. Conquer." tagline were created prior to my material being created. This collection of designs and the "Iron Rusts. Titanium Doesn't." tagline were created by me.
The finisher poster with the Michigan mitten is comprised of the names of all athletes who had registered for the race. Each athlete received a poster to take home and had the ability to find their name in the mitten. It was a fun reminder to all the athletes that they are the really the ones that "complete" the event.
This is a collection of spot illustrations, fliers, web banners, race materials, or logos for store events at Striders, a local run specialty store.
Cross Country Logo
Concept for an update to a high school cross country logo. Traditional arrow/wing iconography was incorporated into the logo. Inverse color schemes are shown for printing on light or dark surfaces.
Memory Lane Race Logo
"Run Down Memory Lane" was a concept race. The idea was to host a fun run for older folks to have a recreational race and social event afterwards with bands/music from past generations.
Swim Club Logo
Concept for an age group swim club logo. The circular shape was intended to allow the logo to be printed large and visibly on swim caps for easy recognition during swim meets.
Reeds Lake Run
Participant T-shirt designs for the Reeds Lake Run & Doggie Dash. Green colored shirts were given to athletes, and orange shirts to volunteers.
Reeds Lake Triathlon/Duathlon Race Guide
This project was to design a race guide for athletes at a local triathlon. The cover, layout, and maps were all created for this project.
Michigan Titanium Marketing 2014
Marketing materials for the Michigan Titanium 2014. Included were shirt designs, athlete booklet cover design and layout, and take away posters. The posters created for athletes were specific to the distances raced by atheltes. The main event was the full distance tri (140.6), followed by the half distance tri (70.3), and then all other other events were rolled into the generic slogan poster. This gave athletes a unique gift to remember their monumental effort by and also acted as a word of mouth advertisement for future races.
GR Tri National Championship Posters 2014
The GR Tri was chosen as the host for USAT Long Course Nationals in 2014. The race offered a multitude of other distances and disciplines in conjunction with the main event. They required two finisher posters- one for general athletes and one for the national championship athletes. I created two similar posters with slight differences for all athletes to enjoy and remember their experience by.
